The sign of God’s salvation, the Eucharist is the celebration of the sacrifice of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. In remembrance of Christ’s death and Resurrection, Mass serves as a public gathering of a faithful community, grateful to God for the gift of redemption. An Opportunity to prepare for and share the body and blood of Christ’s loving presence, the Eucharist sanctifies those who share in the sacrament and further facilitates the strength to offer personal sacrifices while renewing the promise to be united with Christ forever.
